The conference was dedicated simultaneously to two important anniversaries, the tercentenary of the Peterhof Road and the Oranienbaum palace-and-park ensemble. The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve had set itself the task of understanding the interconnected events in their entirety. For three days, leading experts in the field of history and restoration shared their experience and research findings. Participants were given the opportunity to view the Grand Menshikov Palace, which was being prepared to be open to the public.
